“HvZ The Movie” Update Shock Till you Drop writes, "A Shock reader, Frederic Doss, alerted us to the following trailer for Humans vs. Zombies, a project Mr. Doss is involved in. It's another undead romp, a child of the Dawn of the Dead remake, from the looks of it. Or a companion piece to Automaton Transfusion, as it tells of high school students who become infected, turn into zombies and are unleashed on their unsuspecting town. Brian T. Jaynes directed." Advice for Noobs! Humans Tactics By Markus All group techniques have essentially three goals: Speed, Stealth, and Support. Speed is vital in achieving mission objectives, in stunning single zombies, in fleeing zombie attacks, and in breaking sieges. Stealth is important to hunting zombies in early game, in obtaining intelligence on the hordes whereabouts, and in surviving the late game. Support is key for defending points, for breaking sieges, and in succeeding in missions. Yet, each of the three S’s directly cuts away from the others. Read the Guide! Zombie Tactics By solmssteinke This is the compliment to the Human Tactics Guide started by Markus – largely because it has been brought to my attention the lack of zombie-focused advice there is. We start with a basic tenets the casual zed should follow. Anyone else wants to add something, cite which number you want to have modified or added, and put the material with it. I will edit if it is agreed upon as a good tactic. Read the Guide! Zombie Survival Guide By Chevalier Mal Fet Zombies are, sadly, a rare breed here on our forums. The Equipment and Toys section is the most active board by far. Guides and tips on how to stay living abound, but the fine art of stalking armed and paranoid humans is being neglected! There is Prez’s excellent Art of Zombie Warfare (a fine manual on how to organize the horde), but we at HvZ want more. We therefore request for any and all experienced undead to help us create practical, as-you-shuffle guides, based in their own experiences with HvZ. I've written the following guide to kick off this initiative, but don't hold back! To teach everything about the Way of the Zombie, from the lowliest cannon fodder to the Overmind, it takes a horde. Game of the Season We are pleased to announce that Northern Illinois University has reinstated their HvZ game. Since the tragic 1998 school shooting at NIU, HvZ has been banned. After years of working with their school, they have fought hard to come up with a compromise to bring the game back! Read for more information. |
